It’s the time of year when vacation gets on the brain. The inescapable urge to get out of town and out of the routine for a little while. This issue, we wanted to focus on two other towns in the Southeast, one of which has a well-deserved reputation as a great place to visit, while the other is quickly developing one. Our focus in this issue is the unique places in these two towns that are family-friendly and well worth finding. Some of our most cherished (and funny) memories have been with our children on vacation, sometimes on the way to the destination. A few “Griswold family-esque” boondoggles on the road always make for great stories down the line, so we encourage you to take a road trip this summer to some of the other great cities across the Southeast.

It’s also the time of year that love is in the air. As such, we wanted to take a look at some of the wedding essentials and unique finds from some great local sources that can make your special day even more special.
